	The scale and diversity of Itella's service business make it an exceptional employer. We are the second biggest private-sector employer in Finland and we offer jobs in every municipality in Finland. There are approximately 30,000 employees working for our group, of which approximately 7,900 work outside Finland in nine different countries.
Itella is a popular employer – we receive some 30,000 job applications every year. In addition, thousands of young people find their first summer job at Itella.

In addition to the group's strategy, our activities are steered by Itella's values, ethical guidelines and definitions on personnel policy. According to our HR policy, Itella's management is based on respecting people and equality. The focal points of the personnel policy for 2008 are securing the availability and permanency of the workforce and supporting changes.
