At Itella, we have long traditions in value-based management. Corporate values form the basis for our corporate culture and operating methods, guiding our actions and behaviour in different parts of the world.

Common corporate values are everyday actions by Itella employees, performed at work on a daily basis. They keep their promises and focus on renewal – together and to provide added value to the customer.

We want our shared values and ethical guidelines to steer everyday work more closely, including our in-house operations, our work with customers and our management.

The success of our customers forms the basis of ours. We are a reliable partner that listens to customers, understanding both their needs and their business. We always find the best solution for customers and ensure correct, up-to-date information and a positive service experience, closely monitoring the added value provided to the customer.

We focus on renewal

We seek to identify needs for renewal actively, with a customer focus. We are prepared to question our current operating models. We implement reforms briskly and at the right time, communicating on our progress. Developing further as individuals, as a working environment and as a company on a continuous basis, we learn both from our errors and best practices.

Reliability is a matter of honour for us. It is reflected in our attitudes towards each other, our assignments given and our customers. We accept responsibility with open arms, work with a high-quality approach and keep our promises, committing ourselves to our decisions and schedules. In 2007, Itella launched a programme aimed at integrating its corporate values in a more practical way with everyday work and decision-making, to consolidate its positive corporate culture and contribute to meeting strategic goals more efficiently. Alongside these values, our operations are guided by ethical principles.
