The core competence of Itella Logistics is service logistics, with efficient and prompt management solutions for material flows to support the customer's business strategy. Itella’s operations are a combination of a wide range of international services with an ability to offer local solutions by linking to the customer's business.

Itella’s freight and forwarding services include land, sea, and air freight as well as terminal and customs clearance services. Itella’s contract logistics services make the management of customers’ supply chains more efficient. These solutions optimise stock turnover and ensure a constant flow of goods and the availability of products to end customers.

Itella Logistics – a comprehensive service chain

Our logistics centres take care of receiving incoming goods as well as processing them and delivering them to the desired destination. Basic solutions can be complemented with value-added services, such as the pre-assembly or packaging of products, adding of marketing materials or price tags, and the shelving or handling of dangerous goods.

Itella can offer a wealth of industry-specific expertise in rapidly moving consumer goods, the service parts trade, and beverage and fashion logistics. In textile manufacturing, for instance, our service chain extends from raw material freight to the delivery of finished products to retail outlets. In between these stages, we steam clothes, affix alarm tags, and transport hanging garments directly to the racks of stores. The customer can monitor the progress of a process outsourced to Itella in real time.

Itella also offers consulting solutions to optimise customers’ logistics operations. The services include strategy consulting, the re-planning of logistics, and the implementation of solutions.
