Executive Board
Key issues discussed by the Executive Board include the Group strategy and annual business plans, financial and sales planning and monitoring, acquisitions and other business-related investments. The Executive Board is not a formal decisionmaking body: the issues that it discusses and the ensuing recommendations are submitted to Itella Corporation’s Board of Directors or executed under the authorisation of the CEO.
The Group Executive Board comprises the President and CEO, the CFO, the Senior Vice Presidents in charge of the three business groups, the Senior Vice President in charge of Strategy, and the Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing.
The retirement age of Executive Board members is 60 years, but the employer may postpone retirement until the age of 62.

Key work experience of over ten years as the managing director of the K-citymarket chain and in various executive positions in different retail chains, and a member of the executive board of Ruokakesko. Prior to that, Kari Kivikoski was head of line of business and international operations at Sentra Oy, and Director of Operations at McDonald’s Finland Oy. |

Heikki Länsisyrjä, Senior Vice President, Itella Information Key work experience of over twenty years in international executive positions in the ICT business, and member of executive board. Prior to joining Itella, Heikki Länsisyrjä was customer relationship and sales director at Fujitsu Oy. |

Tuija Soanjärvi, Senior Vice President, CFO, Group Administration
Key work experience in the finance and economics sector since 1981. Prior to joining Itella, Tuija Soanjärvi was CFO at Elisa Corporation and TietoEnator. |

Juhani Strömberg, Senior Vice President, Strategy
Key work experience of some twenty years in executive positions in the information technology service business. Prior to joining Itella, Juhani Strömberg was executive in charge of business development at TietoEnator. |

Vesa Vertanen, Senior Vice President, Itella Logistics Key work experience of twenty years in financial and general management positions in various sectors. Prior to joining Itella, Vesa Vertanen was CEO at Addtek Oy and Starckjohann Oy, where he was also the CEO. |
Management Board
In addition to the Executive Board members, the Management Board comprises the Vice Presidents for Human Resources, NetPosti Services, ICT. The Vice President for Corporate Communications has the right to attend Management Board meetings. The retirement age of Management Board members is 63 to 65 years, and their pensions are determined in accordance with TEL (Employees’ Pensions Act). A supplementary pension applies to some members.

Antero Sarèn , Vice President, NetPosti Services Key work experience in sales and executive positions in the IT business since 1984. Prior to joining Itella, Antero Sarén was country group director at Hewlett-Packard, stationed in Munich. At Itella, he was previously the director of Itella Information business group. |
