Itella assumes its financial responsibility by

The financial impact of Itella’s operations is comparable with that of the banking and telecommunications industry, since we facilitate the operations of hundreds of thousands of companies and public sector organizations every day.
Business customers account for about 96 per cent of Itella’s net sales. Our key customer industries include the media as well as the trade and services industries. International business accounts for a third of all net sales.
Itella is wholly-owned by the State of Finland. Our operations are financed solely on the basis of customer revenues. Mail and other postal services cover approximately one half of Itella’s operations, with the other half consisting of logistics and financial management services provided to business customers.
