Itella – top expertise in information and goods flows
We operate in the mail communication, information logistics and material logistics sectors, taking care of our customers’ important information and goods flows. We provide services in ten Northern European countries. International operations account for 25% of our net sales.
Our key customer industries are the retail and wholesale trade, the media, the finance and telecommunications industries, and the public sector. In 2007, Itella Group reported net sales of €1,688 million and employed approximately 25,000 staff. The Group’s parent company is Itella Corporation, which is wholly owned by the Finnish State.
In Finland, we serve consumer customers under the Posti brand. Posti is a reliable messenger for reaching recipients through a variety of channels. On an international scale, we deliver corporate services under the Itella brand.
Paper-based communication and delivery services
Itella Mail Communication offers organisations efficient, high-quality services for reaching their own end customers through a variety of delivery channels under the Itella brand. For consumers, the company has the Posti brand, under which it provides services for sending, receiving, changes of address, and other transactions. Itella Mail Communication also produces all of the stamps issued in Finland through the Philatelic Centre.
