Management
Itella Group is comprised of the parent company, Itella Corporation, and its subsidiaries.
Itella Corporation's highest decision making body is the Annual General Meeting (AGM), which elects the members of the Supervisory Board and the Board of Directors. Itella Group is managed by the Board of Directors and the President and CEO.
Key tasks of the boards:
- The Supervisory Board provides guidance to the Board of Directors on issues with broad implications in society. It also monitors the functioning of postal services. It consists mostly of members of the Finnish parliament.
- The Board of Directors is responsible for controlling and supervising senior management, appointing and dismissing the CEO, approving the company's strategic goals and risk management principles, and ensuring the performance of the company's management system.
- The Executive Board consists of Itella's senior management. It assists the CEO in business management and development, and coordinates Group management. In addition, it discusses and prepares matters for the Board of Directors.
